Fair Trade STL is at the forefront of Conscious Consumer revolution. All you need to do is choose Fair Trade products for use in the workplace, when you shop, entertain, and celebrate! One of our campaign goals is to recognize STL as an official “Fair Trade Town” by national World Fair Trade Day May 2012. Fair Trade brings together core social justice concepts, such as environmental sustainability, women’s empowerment, poverty alleviation, access to education and health care, and building sustainable business. By participating in Campaign Fair Trade St. Louis you are empowering our community to build a more just and equitable world, while positively changing and shaping the culture of our community and our society. By activating awareness, we can change lives of farmers and artisans in some of the most impoverished places in the world. It is an opportunity to celebrate and reward those businesses who have set the tone by providing ethically sourced products. It is a chance to unite our networks into a team focused on raising the profile of our community to reflect our cultural and ethical values.
