Pensacola, America's first settlement. Also known as the City of Five flags, Pensacola has a rich history and prides itself on being one of the hidden gems of Florida. From the white sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico to the Spanish-influenced architecture of downtown, a strong sense of community echoes throughout the city. Our goal is to be the first Fair Trade Town in Florida and the first in the South. Through the process of becoming a Fair Trade Town we will be able to raise awareness about Fair Trade to members of other communities throughout the United States through our tourism industry.Pensacola shall lead by example and will reach out and ask the other surrounding communities to follow suit. This is our mission.
